Fusion Day 2024 is almost here!
The Drury community is looking forward to this year's Fusion Day. On April 24, nearly 300 students will present their research, creative work, and other academic achievements. The day will also feature alumni speakers Matt Stell, Karen Williams, and Olga Custodio. Check out the schedule here.

School of Natural Sciences hosts alumni research presentations April 22-23
Two Panthers from the class of 2017 are returning to share their doctoral research and talk about their lives after Drury. Students will be able to talk with the speakers following their presentations.
Dr. Jeremy Ryan earned his doctorate in biochemistry from Washington University earlier this year. His presentation is titled "Engineering and Evolving Substrate-Specific Hsp104 Variants," which he will present on April 22.
Dr. Anna Brinck graduated with her doctorate from the University of Georgia in 2023. Her presentation is titled "From Cells to Systems: Deciphering Genetic Influence on Cell Biology, Body Patterning, and Nervous System Development," which she will present on April 23.

🐾 CAMPUS LIFE
Fulbright scholar hosts Chinese Calligraphy Event
On April 19, the Drury community spent the morning with Chun-Ju Hsu learning Chinese calligraphy. Participants practiced numbers and their names while learning new words and cultural ideas.
Chun-Ju Hsu is a Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA). She teaches Elementary Mandarin I and II, but she also takes classes as a student to increase her English skills and explore her academic interests.

Drury hosts "No Impact Week" in honor of Earth Day
Throughout April 15-19, students received free food, giveaways, and participated in outdoor activities and presentations to spread awareness of environmental issues. Events were planned by Drury's Student Government Association and Think Green. Learn about sustainability on Drury's campus here!
The week of events ends with the celebration of Earth Day this Monday, April 22. Check out the official Earth Day website to see if there are celebrations near you!

Sports Statistics & Analysis Certificate added this Fall
Do you like sports? Do you enjoy studying and comparing the statistics of your favorite professional athletes? Drury's new Sports Statistics & Analysis Certificate may be for you!
Students will explore a sport of their interest, creating statistics from sports data to support athletic competition. From coaching to sports analytics, this certificate offers something for sports and data fans alike!
