Admission Requirements

Your admission process will begin soon after we receive the following required documents (translated into English if applicable) from you.

In recognition of the rigor of the IB Diploma program, successful baccalaureate recipients will be eligible to receive up to 30 hours of college credit and be eligible for the Trustee Scholarship.

Admission Policy

Students are eligible to be fully admitted and attend regular courses toward degree completion if they offer evidence of GPA 3.0+, and having completed one of the following:

IELTS band 5.5+
SAT 500+ in verbal
SAKAE 10+
TOEFL 62+
ACT 21+
DET 90+

Limited partial scholarships are awarded on a selective basis. The priority deadline to be considered for scholarships is July 1.

Transfer Requirements

Transfer from a U.S. institution with 30+ transferrable college credits:
Transfer GPA 2.5 and above
English test report will be waived
Transfer from a U.S. institution with less than 30 transferrable college credits:
High school GPA 3.0 and above
IELTS band 5.5+, or equivalent
Transfer from a non-U.S. institution:
High school GPA 3.0 and above
IELTS band 5.5+, or equivalent

* All official documents are required to have an English translation if applicable.
** Student who wishes to receive transfer credits must also submit a course-by-course evaluation report. See next the session "Transfer Your College Credits" for details.
*** Students transferring from a non-U.S. institution or have attended less than 30 credit hours in a U.S. institution must provide an English test report. Drury accepts IELTS, TOEFL, SAT, ACT, SAKAE, and the Duolingo English Test.

Transfer Your College Credits

College students who wish to receive transfer credits for prior work must also submit a course-by-course evaluation report done by a National Association of Credential Services (NACES) certified organization. SPANTRAN, ECE, and WES are the three most popular names.

Documents required for admission are slightly different for international first-year and transfer students. Generally, we will need the following:

Admission Process Starts

Decisions for admission and academic scholarship are available within two weeks after we receive all the required documents from you. Please feel free to contact us directly for updates on your admission.

Admission Process Complete

The Office of International Admission will send you the admission letter, scholarship certificate, and instructions to complete the two tasks below to declare your intent to join the incoming class.

Pay a $500 enrollment deposit *
* The enrollment deposit is non-refundable.
Submit your on-campus housing paperwork

Registration and I-20

After we receive your enrollment deposit and housing paperwork, you'll become a ready-to-enroll student, which triggers the following tasks:

Registration open
✓ Submit the International Pre-Scheduling Questionnaire (PSQ) to start
✓ Work with your academic advisor to craft a schedule that's unique for you
At Drury, being double majored while studying for an additional certificate or minor is normal. Please don't hesitate to contact us directly if you wish to learn more.

✓ Receive your I-20, Certificate of Eligibility for Nonimmigrant Student Status
✓ Pay the SEVIS fee
✓ F-1 student visa interview
