Health insurance requirement
Drury requires all international students to carry health insurance through LewerMark International Student Health Insurance unless formally exempted.
Health care in the United States can be expensive. Insurance protects you from unexpected medical costs.
LewerMark plan
COVERAGE INCLUDES
$300,000 annual maximum with no deductible. Office visits cost a $20 copay in network, hospital and emergency room visits $100. Preventive care is covered to $500 a year, prescriptions to $2,500, and mental health treatment up to 30 outpatient visits.
USING YOUR PLAN
Carry your insurance card and use providers in the Aetna network. Visits to the student health center, a CVS walk-in clinic, or Teladoc telehealth cost nothing. Teladoc doctors and therapists are available 24/7 at 1-800-835-2362.
DENTAL AND VISION
Standard plans have limited or no routine dental and vision benefits. Dental and vision coverage (opens in a new tab) can be added separately.

- Emergency help that goes beyond medical care, including evacuation and repatriation. Call 911 first, then SES.

Panther Clinic
Operated by Mercy at Drury and located in Weiser Gym, the Panther Clinic provides primary care on campus during weekday daytime hours. Check the current schedule before you go.
- Walk-in care for illness and minor injuries.
- Routine health screenings and annual health evaluations.
- Behavioral health screenings.
- On-site lab services.
- Referrals to specialists.
Mental health and well-being
Drury offers confidential support for anxiety, depression, academic stress, homesickness, and relationship concerns.
BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES (BURRELL)
Located at FSC 111, 114, and 115, and free to Drury undergraduate students. Same-day 30-minute appointments are available; walk in or schedule through the request form. Services include therapy, assessment, and referrals.

- Build a routine with time for sleep, exercise, and healthy eating.

- Bring medical records and immunization history from home, translated into English.
