Admission Requirements

Please feel free to email us if you have any questions. All documents must be translated into English if applicable.

You are categorized as an international first-year student if you're not a U.S. citizen/Green Card holder, are graduating high school, and haven't taken college courses.

Submitted documents are unofficial; official documents are required for final admission. Send transcripts via your counselor to iadmissions@drury.edu or through WES.org, Evalcompany.com, or ECE.org. Submit test scores directly through the exam portal.

You are identified as an international transfer student if you are not a U.S. citizen/Green Card holder and are currently attending or have attended college.

Requirements differ depending on where you are transferring from and how many U.S. college credits you have.

If you're transferring from a U.S. institution with > 30 college credits

  • Your transfer GPA must be 2.5 or higher.
  • You do not need to submit an English test score.
  • You will be considered for an international transfer scholarship.

If you're transferring from a U.S. institution with < 30 college credits

  • Apply as an international transfer student.
  • Submit all required documents as a first-year international student.
  • Submit your official college transcript from the Registrar's Office or via services like the National Student Clearinghouse or Parchment.

If you're transferring from a non-U.S. institution

International Baccalaureate

Drury recognizes the rigor of the International Baccalaureate Programme. IB Diploma Programme students pursuing completion of the IB Diploma are awarded the highest academic scholarship (Trustee Scholarship) upon admission, regardless of high school GPA or ACT/SAT scores. Indicate on your application that you are an IB student pursuing the IB Diploma Programme to qualify.

Drury also offers college credit for IB classes based on qualifying test scores.

Drury is dedicated to maximizing scholarship opportunities for all students. Academic scholarships for the 2026-2027 academic year are awarded based on application materials (transcript and English proficiency). No separate application needed.

  • IB Diploma recipients are waived from the English language proficiency test requirement and qualify for the highest scholarship.
  • Due to NCAA bylaws, some student-athletes may not be eligible.

Costs of Attendance

Drury University has one price for all students. Students should anticipate a modest annual increase in costs. Estimates below are for I-20 eligibility; students' personal expenses are not included.

  • Engineering fees: $1,200 per semester.
  • Architecture fees: $1,200 per semester except first semester and during study abroad.
  • Nursing fees: $1,125 when beginning ASN coursework (typically starts Fall of sophomore year). Once the major is declared there is a cap of $27,000 of Drury aid.

Once your F-1 visa is approved, you'll receive a link to complete a questionnaire so an advisor can build your first-semester schedule.

How do I apply?

You can apply for free via the Drury application portal. After that, submit your high school transcripts, English language proficiency test report, bank documents, and a scan of your passport. Admission decisions and academic scholarships are typically available within 10 working days.

Is there a deadline for admission?

Drury has a rolling admission policy. For international students who require an F-1 visa, we recommend applying for the fall semester by mid-July and for the spring intake by mid-October to ensure visa processing on time.

I'm currently in Grade 12. When should I apply?

We can start your admission process upon receiving your transcripts from Grades 10 and 11. Start with a free application and we will guide you through the process.

Do I need an English test score if I'm a native speaker?

An English proficiency requirement applies to all international students, but the test options are flexible. Drury accepts IELTS UKVI/Academic, TOEFL iBT, SAT, ACT, SAKAE English Test, and Duolingo. If you are from an English-speaking country, a strong SAT or ACT score satisfies the requirement.

I'm an IB student. Do I need to provide an English test score?

No. IB Diploma students do not need to provide a separate English test score. Successful IB Diploma recipients may also receive up to 30 hours of college credit and be eligible for the top academic scholarship.

How long does it take to get admission?
